3D LEGO Installation
Transforming a small Lego plastic mini figure measuring merely 8 centimeters to a 7 feet tall huge Lego figure was a challenge like no other. And to add to it we decided to make characters based on the DC universe namely, Batman, Superman and WonderWoman.
We used 5 mm and 3 mm PVC boards to make the different parts of the characters.
There were a lot of material constraints but we overcame them by using different techniques and the material qualities.

The main challenge was to install these parts on the top of our college cafeteria which was at a height of 15 feet.
We added elements like Superman’s laser eyes, Wonder woman’s Lasso and Batman’s suit eyes through the play of lights. This added a twist to the installation as it gave a complete different look at night as compared to the day.
