What is KAVINCS and how the project started?
It started with a workshop in summer 2011, which remained in the public consciousness as KAVINCS. Here were the first thoughts and the beginning of the implementation, which is the end of the workshop continued until autumn 2012. I’ve made a video of the making of the sculpture, which could be viewed on Vimeo HD.

The kernel of the workshop was to plan and prepare playground units made of wood that recall the shape of pebbles. Here comes the name of the workshop: KAVINCS, because the "kavics" means pebble in Hungarian. One of my first plan was a pebbles-shaped jungle gym.

"Children’s imagination is infinite.
To design infinite imagination …
Infinite carrier of imagination can be found.
What happens if the carrier has been shaped with adding our own imagination?
Let’s say a pebble is a carrier.
Keep the pebble and your imagination, add a piece of your own: enlarge, cut it into pieces, shape it, and make experiments.
As a result, you’ll get something that might conjure meanings different to all of us.
It’ll become the castle or the space shuttle, the little house or the motor, the train or the dragon – or anything else: it’ll become the one making a room or giving a present." - This was the motto of the workshop.

This plan has undergone quite big changes because I had to realized that the spruce is not the right material for this project. In a while I decided to make my vision come true about my public sculpture, which inspired by ARBONIUM. This meant that I would like to display the world brought to life by ARBONIUM as a kind of magnification. Thus were born the new plans and I started to work on it.
Four locations were lasted the construction, while two friends of mine have joined: Balázs Besenyei & Máté Nagy. First, the core is completed made up by layers. This core shows the original old ideas from the jungle gym concept, after which it was built the outher shell, which forms the regular final form.
The sculpture consist of 2 part: the first is the roundish core and the second is the regular schell. These pictures were taken in Kecskemét, Hungary, where it was available for inspection by the audience.
