Taquería La Modelo Mexico City
Taquería La Modelo is a restaurant located in the metropolitan area of Mexico City. In Lanza we were responsible for designing and developing the visual identity of the brand. Our solution re-takes and customizes the elegant color palette of the Mariachi culture and transfers it to a clean stationery with personality. We built a pattern based on the simplification of the shape of the tortilla, and applied it in our reinterpretation of the classic papel picado. The typeface selection and the illustrations pursue the interaction with the design of the Mexican Revolution in the early 20th Century. The result is an identity with heritage.

Taquería La Modelo es un restaurante ubicado en el área metropolitana de la Ciudad de México. En Lanza Studio reestructuramos la identidad visual de la marca. Nuestra solución retoma y matiza la elegante paleta de colores de la cultura del Mariachi y la transporta a una papelería limpia pero con carácter. Generamos un patrón a partir de la síntesis de la figura de la tortilla y la empleamos en nuestra reinterpretación del clásico papel picado; tanto la selección tipográfica como las ilustraciones aluden a la Gráfica de la Revolución Mexicana de principios del siglo XX. El resultado es una marca con legado y tradición.
