As an assignment for Publication Design class, I was tasked with re-designing an existing book cover. For this project, my goal to give fresh and modern appeal by uniting elements of the original book cover and the cover released after it was adapted to a movie, with more sci-fi elements. The re-design uses a sans serif typeface that has a fantasy appeal, with graphic and photo elements that suits with the genre and target market for the book.
