I have been an intern in London three times and all my friends have been or still are interns in the industry as well. For more than two years I am collecting experiences and stories about fashion internships.
For this project I printed out all the pictures I archived in my computer and in WhatsApp conversations with my friends that I took or send during internships. I juxtaposed the pictures with little provoking sentences that reminded me of ‘Fashion interns problem’ tumblr’s gif. Reflecting on this images and feeding the research with further reading, I came out with a list of key points that have been pivotal in the development of the project.
As a matter of facts, this aspect bring some cynic humor in the patches itself: they can make you laugh, but then you realize that the situation is not that funny, but rally sad instead.
The aim in indeed to make people think about their own personal experiences, remind story, that at least are shareable through the whole intern’s community.
