Picking up where things were left after the Information Architecture project, FLUP underwent a major makeover. Although, the core concept of the app still remained the same; this time around the principles of interaction design, more specifically for Android OS (Jelly Bean / Ice Cream Sandwich), were studied and relevant interaction patterns were incorporated to bring about the user experience.
FLUP can show directions and navigate the user to a fuel pump location. The fuel pump can be the closest one to the user at that time; or it can be to look ahead to locate fuel pumps on long road journeys. The fuel pump results can be filtered and sorted suiting to the users’ brand, distance and/or service preferences. The results can also be set as reminders and shared with other users. The recipient users may or may not be the desired target user for FLUP.
