Hula. Dance that releases Power and Joy
Hula dance is life experience and human knowledge embodied in legends and stories that are kept alive through song and movement. The dance runs out of the Hawaiian's close connection to nature.
Hula dance is a great way to coordinate body and mind. In its simple and pure form, it teaches us to center your head and hips, hands and feet between heaven and earth!

Design Idea: The Plumeria Flower
The Hawaiians have always had a close relationship with nature and the beauty of the island that they live on. They have always especially appreciated the ocean and the many flowers that inhabit their island. The flowers that are important to the Hawaiian people are the hibiscus flower and the plumeria flower. The flowers are commonly used in lei's and much of the traditional Hawaiian artwork. In the Hawaiian culture, the plumeria symbolizes positivity and is used in leis or to celebrate special occasions.
