The process for designing this poster began by drawing the central figure on paper. After cutting, pasting and xeroxing, my original drawing,  the feathered woman was ready to be scanned into the computer. After being scanned into the computer I created two shape layers with illustrator that would then be placed into photoshop. The idea was to create a poster much like one would in an old-school-printshop.  This was accomplished by using limited colors. Here I used two colors, a red and a blue, the third color seen is a black which was created by overlapping the layers. The look of an old-school print was also achieved by using a texture, a weathered paper, and created a halo which replicates the way ink reacts to paper.
