This was created for a marketing class, where my professor had asked me personally to create a new logo (solely the logo, no mockups or branding) for a local brand that creates artisinal "sofrito" in the island as a case study for the effects of branding on people who like luxurious looking identities when it comes to organic products. All of their products are home-made.

This is the original and current logo of the company, also placed on one of it's products.

And I began to draw the logo with the different elements. I didn't want to add anything digital yet because I really wanted to understand the outline. 

I begin to digitalize, having chosen only circles and lines for the logo. I wanted to continue the vibe of symmetry, so I chose to do a leaf. I didn't want something super abstract, and after reading their full description, I didn't feel like an abstract logo would have worked for them. I use guidelines for everything.

This is the original lines that were used, along with the final colors that were chosen.

This is the final logo; I had the wonderful news to know that this one was the highest rated logo that was the most successful in the case study.
