202 Records: Fictional Logo Project

202 Records
A logo design assignment for a fictional record store founded in 1978 and located in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. This store was described as being: groovy, funky, nostalgic. In this series of explorations, this logo was eventually turned into a physical stamp with a laser cutter.

I was extremely influenced by Victor Moscoso and album covers of the late 70s early 80s. Exploring this subject matter to capture the "groovy" nature of the period and embed it the logo.

This project was done in part of a graphic design course at Ringling College of Art and Design, with the instructor Jeff Bleitz.
