These are road signs I’ve created for two fictional worlds. Both are warning signs. We were to choose a theme/location from a provided list for one. I chose ‘Botanical Garden’ and to be creative I set it in the world of Disney where enchanted plants would exist and grown for exhibition purposes. My sign is to warn people not to eat the poison apples. 

For my second sign, I stuck in the fantasy realm but this time in the world of Harry Potter. Warning people of Hippogriff attacks. A hippogriff is a creature with the body of a horse and the wings and head of an eagle.

The most challenging part of this project was it’s simplicity. Being both simple, creative while being effective in purpose. It was a fun but tricky assignment using only a two color palette and working with the use of positive and negative space to create form and shape. I am very amused with the outcome and I also learned a few new Illustrator tricks in the process.
