The exquisitely fine leather goods of Serapian have been made in Italy since 1945. Alessandra Kila was asked to apply her creative vision to the company’s iconic products. In a Milan studio, she created a magical world in which dream and reality, interior and exterior, truth and illusion were translated into a modern, visual narrative. 

Set designer duo Pompili & Cameranesi combined surreal objects and hybrid creatures for a beautiful alchemy with the bags. One or our London artists joined the photographer for on-set retouching. In post we carefully transitioned the soft colours and balanced the studio set with Alessandra’s exterior backgrounds.
