Matteresswala Case study: Service Design | UI-UX


Studies show that we spend approximately one-third of our lives in bed. The mattress is commonly associated with a good night sleep.

Local Mattresswala’s used to serve us for quite a long time. 
These days local mattresswala’s are left behind somewhere & started losing their market over branded products.

There is a need to overlook local mattresswala’s industry & cope them up with the current market.

To create a solution for local mattresswala to increase the sales, present & promote their service & in turn cope up with current branded mattress market.

The Analysis & Synthesis of information gathered was done with using concepts of affinity mapping by listing down the findings from information gathered & arranged it into the logical & organised way. 

Possible solutions were thought of the pain points of mattresswala, buyers & buyers expectations. All solutions were mix & matched to come to 3 concepts, which were then discussed with mattresswala’s, & some aspiring customers using a small survey to finalise a concept.




Final Concept
/Redefined Brief/

To create a digital platform (common community of local mattresswala) that can provide orders to local mattresswala’s by taking orders from customers on behalf of them as serving as a brand face of local mattresswala’s to the customer. 


Problem It Is Solving:
 
•    Helping mattresswala’s to get more orders & increase sales. 
•    Helping mattresswala’s to promote their services. 
•    Helping the local mattresswala’s in building trust and reliability by giving them a brand or identity by           considering them under a part of the community. 
•    Moving locality barrier between mattresswala & customers. 
•    Making it easy for buyers to buy custom mattress or mattress from the reference image. 
•    Making it easy for buyers to get mattress repaired. 
•    Making it easy for buyers to buy suitable mattress by offering them the option to try mattress for  few         nights.

Who is Our Audience: 

•    Local Mattresswala’s who wants to increase their sales & promote their services. 
•    The students relocating to new locality & living as paying guest. 
•    The patient who has a back pain and want to buy a suitable mattress. 
•    Interior designers, buyers, who want to buy custom-designed mattresses. 
•    Hotels or Hostels who want mattresses in large amount & in budget constraint
