Cru Wine Bar is a restaurant in Oxford, Ohio with a diverse wine selection and unique food menu. Lacking a mobile presence, we created an application that is suitable for the average Cru patron. With a clean, minimalist design and a color palette inspired by the colors of red wine and champagne, this application makes it easier and less intimidating to find the perfect bottle of wine from their 300+ bottle wine selection.

Clean and straightforward, with an older user in mind, there is no need for anything more than what is necessary. Large buttons make the application easy to read and navigate.

Choosing between 300 bottles of wine is easy with a screen for red and white wines and an easy-to-use scrolling screen that allows you to browse wines from bolder to lighter, fuller-bodied to lighter-bodied. For more information on a bottle, just tap on the bottle from the cellar, and more information pops up. Learn about the vineyard and the wine's flavor profile before choosing to buy the bottle.

Because the Cru does not take reservations, it is helpful for its patrons to know how busy the restaurant is at any given time. Being able to check the current wait and Cru's most popular hours and put your name on the wait list remotely are unique features that are not available outside of this app.
