• The earphones are vulnerable products. It’s easy to break the cable and get knots on them accidentally. Especially when we put it into our pockets. In response for this issue I developed my protector case which is easy to use and compact enough to put it in our pockets.

  • Branding & Inspiration
The product design inspired by the snail’s housings. The name and the shape refer for the protection and the small size. With the logo I wanted to reflect for the rotational wheel with an ambigram.
  • Design
On the outside the case have curved shape around with flattened side. It’s made by two individual parts. An outer case and a cylindrical inside element with rotational axis. From the bottom angle, there is a more open gap. It’s let the ear pods to lie into the product.

  • How it works?
There are two sockets for the jack plugs. Usually there are two kinds of these. 90 degrees and the straight ones. You have to plug the earphones into the product. After that you can wind up the cables with your thumbs.

  • In 2015 I participated on the 1st International Interdisciplinary Conference with my design. There was a contest in 3D printing. With my presentation of the product I won the III. place on the contest.
