Web Accessibility - Mozilla Firefox Browser Feature

This was a collaboration project in my second year of Ravensbourne, a live project with Mozilla to create an accessibility feature for Firefox. The feature needed to target a specific user group and make browsing the web on Firefox more accessible for them. My group chose to focus on users who have dyslexia.
We conducted extensive primary and secondary research, reaching out to organisations, friends and social media groups for information about how they are affected by dyslexia online.
We found that these two questions gave us the biggest insights into what we could create that would significantly improve browsing online for users with dyslexia. We realised that targeting writing and reading online would have the biggest impact on improving their browsing experience.
Our design aims to tackle to issue of reading large amounts of text by creating a feature that could find videos that related to the content of the web page, and find the user relevant videos to watch alternatively to reading.
The feature also had a notes page to one side for the user to write anything from the video that they needed, which they could then easily print out or save for a later date.
