Raven's Cache
Illustration based on the notion that Ravens and some other birds in the corvid family collect shiny objects. The truth about this concept is debatable even still, young ravens are very curious and have been observed playing with man-made objects they find in their environment. The glint of a shiny object laying on the ground is eye-catching and worthy of investigation.
The illustration was displayed as part of a recent show. I incorporated some of the pieces in the illustration to create the announcement.
