Nismo inspired drag car
The Task
Design and modify a Nissan 1400 bakkie that exhibits it’s South African Drag Racing heritage as well as American Muscle Car design cues.
The Outcome
A CAD model of a complete Nissan Champ bakkie. The model includes all the small details from the suspension and diff to interior gauges and wiring. Various elements of the Champ were inspired by the 1969 Dodge Charger and other muscle cars of that time. The large turbo and racing slicks are reminiscent of South African Drag Racing Champs driven by the likes of racing legend Louis Lema.
