Tata Trent a Tata Group initiative, is one of India's fastest growing retail chains consisting of Westside - fashion and lifestyle and Star Bazaar - a hypermarket chain.

Brief

To design Tata Trent's annual report in a unique manner so as to communicate the progress across its business verticals, its goals and the future direction of the brand while also becoming a touch point for its consumers and stakeholders.

Approach

A master piece takes effort to craft. This approach highlights the many stages of creating a quality product. the attention to detail, the very imagination and then the creation of a work of art. Slicing it at every level to understand what goes in creating not just a product, but a story.

A Plethora of Pixels

Pixels come together to form a bigger picture. Similarly, making an A-class product has many processes to it, which go unnoticed. Visually creating an image where the garment is the bigger picture, the masterpiece, and the pixels are the minute details that go into making it.

This effect lays emphasis on symmetry and the importance of consistency in perfection, that further fuels Trent’s approach to its products.

Concept: Threads

Threads are the very basic element that make a fabric. They bind together to form the perfect garment. Every thread counts in the grand masterpiece. This focuses on the finer things that make all the difference, that very often go unnoticed.

The Evolution

Omnipresent Inspiration

Everything inspires. Every drop of water, cloud in the sky and leaf has a unique pattern, colour and shape. Every ancient Indian architectural structure has its motifs and intricate design which is what make it interesting. This approach focuses on the diverse range of inspirations that go in creating only the finest products.

The final approach was a clever blend of the inspiration and expertise to feature the eccentric craftsmanship that is invested in every Trent product.
