Basics is a set of tableware designed for Anthiope; a design store in Guadalajara, Mexico. The brief was to design a set of tableware products that could be produced with local craftsman reflecting the essence of the brand. We developed simple bodies with minimum interference by CAD software, which led to the creation of basic shapes that blend perfectly in any kitchen or dining room.
The tableware collection consists of a vase, plate, bowl, two different sizes of glasses, a mug and a shot glass.
The tableware collection was produced using only a pottery wheel, Don Chemo was the master craftsman who fabricated all of the pieces for the collection, he resides in Tonala, a small town near Guadalajara.
