Posters for Peace - Bed-In pour la paix 2017

Poster for Peace - Le Bed-In pour la paix 2017

The Bed-In for Peace 2017 is a celebration of love and creativity that exposes hundreds of messages of hope, at an outdoor event honoring the one from 1969, by John & Yoko.

Posters for Peace asked artists around the world to share their visions of peace in poster form. A video, viewed more than 90,000 thousand times, launched the project, spurring more than 400 submissions. Our jury then selected 40 posters to form the first official collection, exhibited September 21 at the Place Ville Marie esplanade, on International Day of Peace. The exhibition, a huge outdoor bed-in, welcomed the unveiling of the John & Yoko Suite 1742 which took place simultaneously at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel
