Wrathful Gods
The series of illustration that inspired from Asian culture gods/deities. Most of the gods in the series are from Hinduism or Buddhism & really popular all over Asia countries (Japan, India, Vietnam, China, Tibet).

The concept of wrathful deities in Buddhism – especially in Vejrayana Buddhism, means to establish dominance over demons & devils without mercy. All of the wrathful deities are an alternative manifestation of a bodhisattva or other normally peaceful figure.

The series of illustration is an self-interpretation of wrathful attitude & combine it with nowadays popular culture. 
Hanuman
Hanuman is a divine monkey.
He represents courage, fortitude and excellence.
In many cultures he is depicted as a lady man, a seducer. Hanuman is believed to be the inspiration of SunWukong in the novel The Journey to the West.
Mahākāla
One of the Eight Protectors of Buddhism Dharma. He is believed to be a wrathful form of Bodhisattva, and Shiva in Hinduism. 
Garuda
Garuda, a large mythical bird, represents dominance
of wisdom over ignorance (the snake). He usually sees with a snake in his peak. In many Asian culture, Garuda is perceived as a protector of temples.
