Wisdom comes with age
Forests are 350,000 years old. That is incomparable to the span
of humanity. In that time, they learnt how to function to perfection.
Forestry has a tradition of only 200 years, many trees in Slovakia
are older than that. All the effort during the two centuries,
resulted in irretrievable damage in large parts of our forests.
Nature has its ways how to take care of itself, it has enough experience.
We should learn out of our experience. We could help in only in one way,
we should do nothing.
