A publication generated by the browser inspector and printed through the browser print function.

Themes: generate new form through modifying existing forms.

Process: In this case, I opened a new Tumblr blog and altered the CSS and HTML through the browser inspector. Everything is done online and will be gone when the webpage refreshes or closes. Temporality is a key feature in this project. I can only reprint what I saved as PDF from the browser print function.

Concept: The idea of this publication is to showcase the print discrepancy between various web-to-print parameters from the browser.

“Portrait" issues and “Landscape” issues are named after the “portrait” and “landscape” print modes. "Error" issues are print mistakes bound together. The “screenshot” issue collects the screenshots from the webpage as well as the corresponding printing result from the browser print function.

Each issue is double-side printed. Each side represents a different print condition. Every spread compares different print outputs from the same input (the same page).

Punch holes indicate the possible bound method of each issue. For example, the "Portrait" issues have punch holes on both short sides, and the "Landscape" issues have punch holes on both long sides. While the "Error" issues have holes on four sides indicating they're mixed mistakes from "Portrait" and "Landscape", the "Screenshot" issue has 8 punch holes on each page for various flexible binding ways.
