“A Aldeia adormece” (“It’s night time”) is a cards game brilliantly designed by Estaminé Studio, inspired by the original game, The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow (2001), created by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly; it's a collaborative project where designers and illustrators were invited to draw one of the game's letters.
The game places villagers and wolves in dispute. When night falls, the wolves try to kill the villagers. By day, the villagers try to find out who the wolves are. The game includes 23 characters and for each, one or more cards were drawn. I was invited to draw the "menina" ("the girl"), whose function is to peer, with eyes half open, the other players.
