Timeless
So close, Yet so far away.
This is a landscape series I did in Yosemite National Park during its Winter time. I chose 4x5 large format camera and Zone system method to capture this beautiful nature. I felt very blessing that the weather was wonderful to allow me to examine the path the predecessors such as Ansel Adams and Eadweard Muybridge had been through. There was nothing could make me happier than sliding the film holder into my camera and snapping the cable release in front of the view. I exposed the film following the instruction of Zone System and developed in the darkroom as the exact way I want. The outcomes are so satisfying and encouraging. It was a good time.
