Wikipedia’s main goal is to help provide information at the touch of a button. They offer more than just information on various topics but also what they call a wiki store where
they have numerous items on sale. By redesigning Wikipedia to be more user friendly and to nudge users to contribute to wiki by either donations or by editing or writing an article.
In this design, the aim was to reduce the amount of content that features on the home page by de-cluttering and removing items that were deemed unnecessary, the design has
made navigating through Wikipedia much easier by the use of a sticky navigation bar that consist of a search and a categories tab that provides topics to choose from if the user
doesn’t know what to research. The body of the home page has been redone and it is now easier to read what the featured articles and in the news, are about by the use of an accordion which eliminates the excessive amount of information that features in a single article.
