Music From Heaven

I’m Michael’s fans since early 90’s,
I try to find something relevance between Michael and China,
when I fall in love with art design,
I think it should be very interesting
if the greatest artist meet the greatest culture of the world,
Until I found below photos,
Precious photos of late Michael Jackson’s visit to Hong Kong to film a special show with TVB in 1987
I am so exiting to see his costume,
even the cloths are not perfect,
but it’s the moment mades the king of POP more close with China.
it inspire me to created below art works,
to Michael and his fans around the world.
“I am an Instrument of Nature. Love is my message.”
- Michael Jackson

The art work inspired by a Chinese poem
by Du Fu (712 – 770, Tang Dynasty)
“the music only belongs to the heaven,
(it’s) rare to heard on the earth”
I used Wu Jing(武净), one of key roles in
Beijing opera with painted faces,
to represent black and white roles,
Jings often play the roles of high-ranking generals,
warriors, or officials in Beijing opera,
Wu Jing is good at fighting, acrobatic,
seldom plays a prominent role,
performer with white painted face
usually takes the part of a villain of the show,
Black denotes boldness, fierceness, impartiality, rough.
Sometimes you may find you are different
when you see yourself in the mirror
People always told me, "Be careful of what you do.
And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts."
mother always told me, "Be careful of who you love,
And be careful of what you do
'Cause the lie becomes the truth."
Michael's former pet monkey BUBBLES,
currently living in the Center for Great Apes sanctuary,
Wauchula, Florida, USA,  now 34 and greying.

The poem by Xu Yanrong (1675-1760, Qing Dynasty)
means "attributed to really dull, it's the best end-result of the heart"
Calligraphy by Mei Lanfang ( 1894-1961),
the King fo Beijing Opera.
