URBANSCAPE
Architecture and Design Film Festival
"Architecture and film are interlocked: both unfold narrative ideas through space and time, taking us to real and virtual worlds; both start with the imagination, and then take on their own reality."

Urbanscape is a 5-day fictional architecture and design film festival that celebrates architectural film through independent short film screenings. The theme for this festival focuses on the the power of moving images as a tool for broadening public understanding and appreciation of contemporary architecture.

The visual concept for this festival introduction sequence plays with drawings to real its, shadows and the negative-positive abstract shapes we find in the modern architecture. Zaha Hadid was one of the major architect inspiration for this project.
