Not All Differences Can Be Seen

Eyes are the window to the Soul,
For a Diabetic they are the window to haemorrhages and nerve damage.
As part of my degree year we were encouraged to enter live competitions.
I entered a charitable competition across the pond in America for the chance to take part in a an annual outdoor exhibition in Florida. I made a piece inspired by my wonderful partner, who happens to suffer from Type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 diabetes can affect anyone of any age, at any time. there is no cure and health risks rise to the point where some sufferers face the daily threat of falling asleep and not waking up.
