Idea
Branding and mural for the children's clothing and decoration store Pie Pie Kids had to reflect the basic concept of the store: a sensitive sense of style and creativity from the earliest years of life. The founders of the store follow the idea that children have to observe natural beauty and grow up in an aesthetic environment, so they turned to an artist-designer who shared this idea with them. The main task was to make the interior special and unusual. The work process was very inspiring since I was given all the trust and credit. In the end, I managed to compound the visual image and the concept very easily and successfully.

mural
The painting became the main bright accent of the space, as well as the corporate identity of the entire store. It covers several walls and gathers the details of the store into one. Using contrast of soft and bright colours, large and small spots, strokes of the paintbrush and roller textures, the desired effect of lightness, movement, joy and playfulness was achieved. The painting has a lot of fine details in the form of flying figures and strokes.

colors
The main colours are meditative blue, bright yellow, and powdery pink. Brown colour gives a few graphic tones to the composition and also grounds it. In this way, the artist tried to display the basic principles of children's perception of the world and also the concept of the store: freedom, simplicity, and sincerity. Airy colour spots of free forms, different textures and sizes give a space for your imagination and delight the eyes of parents and their kids.

design
Packaging and printing repeat the artist’s style and complement the overall impression. As a result, there is a very bright, authentic and memorable project.

publication
This project was featured in the publication of Design & Visual Identity for Children’s Spaces, a book by The Images Publishing Group, in 2021. As the lead designer, I worked closely with the store’s owners to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity that reflected their unique style and appealed to their target audience. The project involved designing a new logo, developing a colour scheme and typography, and creating a range of marketing materials, including signage, packaging, and online assets. One of the highlights of the project was the inclusion of a photo of the store’s interior design on the cover of the book, which was a testament to the quality of my work and the impact it had on the industry. Overall, the project allowed me to showcase my creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills, and I am proud to have been a part of such a successful and highly regarded endeavour.
