PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY | yeast pottery
Ongoing project, photography of yeast pottery for Etsy crafts shop including their Instagram.
These are the head photos for online store aiming to catch the eye and instantaneously give the feeling of rustic, natural, earthy. The pottery is handmade using archaic Baltic yeast pottery method, every piece is one of a kind, touched by human hand, flame, yeasty water, air - all these are important creators of every bowl. To strengthen the organics I chose to use only natural props in this photo-shoot.
Bowls and plates are made by my mom and photo-shoot actually happened in my room, under a roof window, bringing everything I found in my kitchen. The idea came very spontaneously, and I improvised on a go with various props such as nuts, spices, onions and similar.
