Have you ever dreamed that the city where you live, one day, would apply to host a world championship of your favorite sport?
If yes, how would its visual identity be?
Well, I've tried to answer this question! This is how I imagined it would be if one day Florence will host the world championships of artistic gymnastics.
note: this is a personal project, the International Federation or any other institutions are NOT related on this project.
The logo is based on the act of twisting, typical movement of this sport, where the athlete twist around his or her vertical axis while twisting also around the horizontal axis. I have represented this action with an impossible figure in order to point out the difficulty of the movements performed by gymnasts.
