Concept Art baseado na obra de Pasolini - Concept Art based on Pasolini work
Este projeto foi desenvolvido para aula de Design de Histórias em 2016, em parceria com as alunas Mariana Fernandes, Ana Carolina Ferreira e Maria Priscila Guglielmin.
A personagem foi concebida a partir do texto de Pasolini, do qual foi utilizado o seguinte trecho:
“A primeira imagem da minha vida é uma cortina, branca, transparente, que pende - imóvel, creio - de uma janela que dá para um beco bastante triste e escuro. Essa cortina me aterroriza e me angustia: não como alguma coisa ameaçadora ou desagradável, mas como algo cósmico. Naquela cortina se resume e torna corpo todo o espírito da casa em que nasci.”
A cortina representa a memória do autor de sua juventude. Ela funciona como uma metáfora de algo que esconde e revela ao mesmo tempo e que o encanta e prende sua atenção e curiosidade.
A personagem foi criada com o intuito de representar uma figura etérea e misteriosa que chama e atrai, assim como a cortina fazia com o autor em sua infância.

This project was developed in 2016 to the Narrative Design class, in partnership with the students Mariana Fernandes, Ana Carolina Ferreira and Maria Priscila Guglielmin.
The character was created based on a specific part of Pasolini work:
“The first image of my life is a white, transparent curtain, that hangs - immobile, I believe - from a window witch gives to a dark and enough sad alley. That curtain scares and anguish me: not like something threatening or unpleasant, but like something cosmic. All the spirit of the house where I was born resumes and takes form in that curtain.”
The curtain represents the author's memory of his youth. It works as a metaphor of something that hides and reveals at the same time, something that enchants him and keeps his attention and curiosity.
The character was created with the intent of represent an ethereal and mysterious figure that calls and attracts, as the curtain used to do with the author in his childhood.
Processo Criativo - Creative Process
Desde o início, fora usada uma figura feminina com panos e tecidos para dar a ideia da cortina, porém, percebeu-se que havia personificação demais na personagem, dando a ela um caráter humano que não era presente no texto por meio das expressões faciais. Dessa forma, decidiu-se por esconder o rosto da cortina, deixando-a mais misteriosa e espectral. Além disso, foi adicionado mais movimento nas poses, traduzindo melhor a ideia da cortina por meio da movimentação da personagem no desenho.

Since the begging, a female figure with cloths and fabrics was used to give the idea of the curtain, but was noticed that there were to much personification in the character, giving her a human character, by her facial expressions, that wasn't present in the text. Than was decided to hide her face making her more mysterious and spectral. Besides, was added more movement in her poses, bringing a better idea of the curtain through the character moves.
