Jodhpur, 2nd largest city of Rajasthan is known as 'suncity'& 'bluecity'. Blue because of the face that most of the houses are painted blue. The reason is, in summers, blue paint keeps the house cool from inside against the scorching heat (mind you, Jodhpur is known as suncity too)!
