Dryhootch - Print Ad

Dryhootch is a nonprofit coffee shop dedicated to helping vets from all eras lead healthy lives after their service. Founded in 2008 by a group of Vietnam vets, they’ve grown from a simple tent, to an outreach truck, to permanent locations on Brady St and W. National Ave. All are welcome at Dryhootch, but vets can take advantage of individual, group, and peer support, free legal support, and other programs focused on helping those who survived the war survive the peace.

We concepted, wrote, and shot this ad 'off the clock' so to speak, relying on donated time, talent, and materials. The campaign won the Creativity Award in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Partners Partners for Humanity program, which utilizes the region’s top creative talent to create pro-bono ad campaigns for non-profit organizations that would not normally have access to such resources. DryHootch received $1000 and free future placements as a result of the campaign's success.
