Blackboard is one of the biggest companies in education technology and services. Countless institutions, schools, districts and companies use their software. Due to what they do, they are handling large amounts of student data. And data always has privacy issues attached.
When Blackboard contacted us, they had the following problem: the information on how to treat student data was not understood by anyone. He forwarded a script containing complex legal information and wanted us to help him deliver the message to his employees and the public.
Our solution: simplifying the content, revisiting the script and humanizing the data using a character, whom we called Mark. He navigates the viewer through the explanation of the concept. By humanizing the data, we make people grasp it better.
So, thanks to Mark we reached Blackboad’s goal and got everyone to understand how to handle student data.
