Unintentionally, my mother and I decided to pick our warmest coat for this one day trip. Scarves, shocks, water and fuel, we're ready!

Y Ty is one of the most remote mountainous district in Lao Cai province. It is far from my hometown just only 80 kilometers but it takes more than 3 hours to reach there. 

I still remember my father once asked me "Do you know that behind that moutain are hundreds of other mountains? These moutains are just like challenges and difficulties in our life, we can just see only the nearest one."

Terrace fields on water season.

Just look out of window car and you would see clouds were right above your head. 

We finally reached the centre of Y Ty. Ha Nhi ethnic minority group is the most populous in Y Ty. They cultivate rices, vegetables and fruit on their own for living.

Here is Ha Nhi people's traditional house. The walls are made from one special kind of terracotta and the roof is covered by fungi.
