Asia –
a continent full of impressive cultures and traditions.
We are living in a time of not just economical, but also cultural and aesthetical globalisation, and while everyone else is seemingly looking at „the West“, I‘ve turned the opposite way and am caught up by „the East“.
Fascinated by Asian culture, traditional elements are combined with modern photography during a journey through six asian countries. The aim of the project is to create a fusion of different aesthetics and cultures. Through this project emerged a series of fashion editorials, inspired by traditional Asian paintings, folktales, clothes and lyric – a journey through fashion, culture and time.
