When we think for a weekend trip to any sea beaches, the first name comes to our mind is Digha.

Digha is one of the most visited and most crowded sea beach of west bengal.It is situated in the eastern reason of Medinipur and to the north side of the sea Bay Of Bengal.

Digha basically has two parts : New Digha & Old Digha .

New digha is popular for its wide sea beach where people use to go for a bath and enjoyment in the water .

Old digha is basically preferred at afternoon and evening. Visitors spent their time on the bank of the cemented sea beach . There are Bishwa Bangla Park and a small market just beside the beach and one can find some restaurant like 'Wow Momo' , 'Barista', etc and some street food like papri chat , velpuri, ice gola, ice creams, different type of fish fries ,etc for refreshment.

There are also some other place and beaches* to visit  near Digha.

This is one of the most visited beaches in west bengal because of the availability of hotels of wide ranges.

Digha can be a 2-3 night tour of as well as a weekend trip also .

One can reach digha by personal car, bus( sbstc or private bus service ) or train.

Cost of food is high a little bit there as compared to the quality of the food.

A total budget of 2-3k per head is enough for a standard tour or 5-6k (approx) for a deluxe tour.
