The rover is actually only one foot long, built with mechanical parts form a radio. The apparent screws and wires were ignored. It is an experiment about how people in modern age process information fast, without the willingness to take time to look deeper. This kind of context-based information intake method is efficient in the digital age, but it also makes us vulnerable to deception and hoax.
