Inspired by the provocative and somber posters of cinema of the past, this project pays homage to the aesthetics and sensuality of horror of the 19th century. In a contemporary setting, bright colors overlap obscure contexts to form mystifying montages. In the darkest month of the year, each day of the calendar embodies its own story, no matter how monstrous.
Inspiré des affiches sombres et provocatrices du cinéma d’autrefois, ce projet rend hommage à l’esthétisme et à la sensualité de l’horreur du 19e siècle. Dans un cadre contemporain, les couleurs vives chevauchent des mises en scène obscures pour former des montages déroutants. En ce mois le plus sombre de l’année, chaque journée du calendrier mérite sa propre histoire, aussi monstrueuse soit-elle.
