Bulk feed concept for Tomra Systems
This is a group project in cooperation with Tomra Systems. During two hard working months we got a basic understanding of a mechatronic system. The project ended with development of a working model using electronics, mechanics and pneumatics.
The machine is provided with an on and off button, emergency stop and an indicating light.
The funnel has a capacity of one full shopping bag of bottles.
The two movable "L's" in the middle of the funnel are making circulation and flow amongst the bottles.
The two moving bands are making sure the bottles doesn't end up on top of each other, but on a straight line before they are scanned.
