An Homage to
Fantasy Literature
This is a piece that I made quite a while back. Though not the best, it is one of my favourites at it features a wealth of literary characters that have informed my ideas and served as inspiration throughout my life. Tolkien, Rowling, Pullman, White, and various civilizations and empires have been at the core of mine and many people's lives and I felt it best to pay tribute to the greats that make the world a better place with their writing.
I plan on breaking down the individual elements of this piece to give a little background on what exactly is happening on this page
Quidditch Pitch

A Quidditch pitch is typically in the shape of an oval, five hundred feet long and a hundred and eighty feet wide, with a small central circle of approximately two feet in diameter. At each end there are three hooped Goal posts of different heights, surrounded by a scoring area.
Alethiometer
aka the Golden Compass

The alethiometer was a compass-like device that was used to communicate with Dust and find truthful answers to one's questions. Only six alethiometers were ever made.
