This is our proposal for the contest to design a logo and award for "Prémio Maria José Nogueira Pinto em Responsabilidade Social", award named after the now deceased politician known for her thrive in social responsability. Just like the brief stated, the logo was drawn according to what we believe to be the meaning of community and collective effort.

The award is a very simple medal in acrylic with the same shape as the logo. It has only a small engraving in the center which refers to the name and year of the award. We think that a way of making the medal seem less dull as every year passes by, would be to use the logo's six colours for the medal strap.
