task and situation

There was no trade for freeze-dried spices in Lithuania until now; it’s a unique product for the country’s market. These goods preserve their smell and all of their energetic as well as nutritious value. Freeze-dried products are more expensive because of their production technology. 

The task was to create design for freeze-dried spices in the premium category while using the client chosen containers. It’s important for the design to help people understand the reasons behind the higher price of these goods. 



solutions

graphic elements 
The label is quite original in its triangle-shaped cut which captures the customer’s attention and exposes the leafs, granules, or powder. The small additional graphics serve the same purpose. 

colours
Pastel and rather stifled colours were chosen for the spices, this way communicating the product’s uniqueness and at the same time creating an impression of a slight frost. 

premium   feel
Matt paper was selected for the labels. Tactile varnish on the names of spices contrasts attractively with the matte paper.
