What is Inbound Marketing?

Inbound marketing is in many ways simple, and easy to get wrong. But do it correctly, inbound marketing will give you a huge advantage over your competition. 
Through Inbound Marketing you are giving more value to your customer throughout his/her's entire buying journey through good content marketing. 
According to inbound marketing methodology, every buyer will be in one of the following stages while pursuing a buying process. 
Attract: This is the stage where you attract your potential customer. The point is to attract the right people who may become your customer one day. To do that you have to 'online', be at the right place, and at the right time. Attracting your target customers all begin by having a good content strategy and at the forefront is always blogging. Tools like SEO, Social media are used to deliver valuable content that will bring you more visitors and eventually more leads. 
Convert: Attracting is only the first step. What you need to get right is to convert those visitors into solid leads. You use tools like forms, meetings or messages to do this. At this stage, it is all about getting in touch with those visitors. Once you are in touch you answer the queries and provide valuable content to them and make sure they stay in the buyers' journey. 
Close: Now that you have done almost all of the hard work, it is now about closing the deal. It is at this stage that you convert those leads into solid customers. Some tools like EMails with Call to action, CRM are used at this stage. 
Delight: A buyers journey never ends at becoming a customer, it continues on. After a visitor becomes a customer, it is now about making sure that customer stays happy with you. The company has to stay in touch with the customer and continue providing valuable content to them, thus possibly creating more opportunities for upselling.
