PROBLEM
Samsung asked me to “Design a catalogue not like a typical TV catalogue.” This was because the new Samsung TV, “The Frame”, had a ‘frame’ function that allowed you to enjoy the works of globally famous artists in high definition when the TV is not in use. They said that although it was a new technology, they wanted it to be communicated emotionally, not technologically.

SOLUTION
Samsung is making the world’s most technologically advanced TV, and since everyone knows it, I thought it would be okay not to put a description of the technology, as the product explains itself. I, nevertheless, need to find a visual symbol that could represent and describe the product. In order to design it very simple and straightforward to understand, I excluded extra elements and used only black frames as an underlying theme.
