Rickshaw Writers is a writing services and communications firm. They provide ghostwriting, speech writing and editing services, as well as communications consulting for C-level management, policymakers and academic administrators (e.g., deans of graduate schools).
What they wanted:
Rickshaw Writers produces communications that are narratively powerful, culturally competent and, like the rickshaw itself, uncomplicated. The rickshaw is about as unpretentious a mode of transportation you can find. For the logo, I envision a simple silhouette or sketch of a bicycle rickshaw. The ideal logo conveys gravitas and heft, has just a touch of whimsy or wit and tells a story. I intend to use the logo for all of my branding, so I need a logo that travels well across platforms (e.g., website, business cards, etc.).
