일상 속에서 무심코 스쳐 지나가는 스팸 메세지. 불특정 다수에게 무제한 복제되어 전송되는 이러한 메세지들은 광고를 읽게 하기 위해 사족을 앞세워 시선을 끌곤 한다. 이것은 마치 주문처럼 우리들의 이목을 집중시킨다. 우리는 어쩌면 의식하지 못한 채, 하루에도 몇 번씩 누군가의 주문에 걸려 원치 않는 광고를 접했는지도 모른다. 영험한 부적을 통해 스팸 메세지의 유도성 글에 걸려들지 않는다는 가상의 컨셉을 바탕으로 시작된 이 작업물은 소지용 ・ 복제용 부적, 부적 사용법이 담긴 책으로 이루어져 있다.

Spam messages that we absent-mindedly pass by in our everyday lives. These messages churned out to unspecified masses go through all means to catch anyone’s attention. Perhaps we are put under a spell to encounter unwanted advertisements on a daily basis without us even noticing them. Based on the imaginary concept that a spiritual amulet will prevent deception from the luring spam messages, this piece consists of a book containing amulet for possession・duplication, and instructions to using the amulet.
